BLAUVELT, N.Y. — Rockland Nissan has agreed to pay $25,000 to settle a lawsuit filed by the state attorney general. It alleges that the retailer misled buyers through deceptive ads, reports lohud.com.

The dealership claimed financing was available to all customers, and misled them on the terms of lease and purchase agreements, according to reports. Rockland Nissan also paid $10,000 in 2011 for engaging in deceptive ad practices.
