Dallas-based Stone Eagle Insurance Systems Inc., an international credit insurance and service contract processor and system supplier, also markets a single-entry F&I department data accumulation and management software package. It is offered for use by dealer groups and general agents specializing in aftermarket products. The Dealer Summary Reporting system can be fed by ADP and Reynolds and Reynolds DMS programs through Stoneeagle.com, a subsidiary of The Stone Eagle Group.

According to Cindy Allen, Stoneeagle.com’s director of operations, the software package collects, processes and displays the data needed to manage every facet of an F&I operation. The system allows the user to generate reports for use by F&I and sales management. "The data is accurate and finite enough to ensure that no deals fall through the cracks. These types of problems are eliminated by Stone Eagle’s ongoing, detailed audit of the process," said Allen.

One feature of the system is its application at the general agent or dealer group central office level. The system is designed to feed secure data from multiple locations daily to a server where it is available for analysis. According to Cindy Allen, the ability of a general agent or dealer chain operator to retrieve accurate and timely data improves the level of over site support to ensure maximum penetration and an orderly flow of business throughout the F&I process.

Equally important, the system saves both the dealer and agent money because little or no time is required of the F&I practitioner to post the reports. And, because the information is drawn directly from the dealer’s DMS program, all related computations are error free, according to Allen.

A longstanding industry-level AFIP member, Stone Eagle is also active in the Consumer Credit Insurance Association and the Credit Insurance Association.
