GM Adds AutoSoft Traffic COP

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. — General Motors will offer the AutoSoft Traffic COP customer follow-up tool to manage sales opportunities from showroom traffic, service drive, phone-ups and other leads at GM's nationwide network of dealers.

AutoSoft was named an endorsed GM IDMS provider in 2007. The AutoSoft DMS enhanced with its AutoSoft Traffic COP CRM tool, released late last year and piloted in IDMS dealerships, received GM endorsement this month. Under the terms of the agreement, Traffic COP will serve as an optional offering to complement the AutoSoft GM IDMS product offering.

"We are pleased to add AutoSoft Traffic COP to the IDMS package," said Jim Bement, manager, GM Global Retail Systems/IDMS. "While complimenting AutoSofts’ core DMS applications, it will provide dealers a business-generating CRM solution."

Traffic COP is a desking tool was designed to allow salespersons and managers to e-pencil deals quickly and thoroughly, then send them directly to AutoSoft Finance Assistant or Supreme Software’s Dealership Tracker, to complete the sale.
