Manheim Interactive Chief Operating Officer Joe Luppino has announced that Gordon Warren has joined the company as vice president for commercial accounts.

A 30-year veteran of the automotive industry, Warren joins Manheim Interactive after spending the last eight years as vice president of sales for Manheim Auctions. He began his career at General Motors, spending 23 years at the company, culminating in a position as auction sales manager.

“We’re elated to welcome Gordon to Manheim Interactive,” said Luppino. “Over the years, he has built a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable people in the industry, and we’re excited about bringing that expertise to the online side of the business.”

In his new capacity, Warren will work with manufacturers, banks, fleet-lease companies, and car rental companies to maximize their remarketing operations with Manheim Interactive.

“I see Manheim Interactive’s products as complementary to the services Manheim offers at our traditional auctions,” said Warren. “Having worked in the auction arena for Manheim and as a customer from GM, I think that experience will be invaluable as I introduce the Manheim Interactive products to both existing and new commercial accounts.”

Manheim Interactive Inc. is a business-to-business e-commerce company serving the wholesale automotive remarketing industry. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Manheim Auctions Inc. Customers include auto dealers, manufacturers, banks, fleet, lease, finance and rental-car companies.
