Manheim Auctions’ National Training Center in Nashville, Tenn., has released its class schedule for 2001.
Classes scheduled are Condition Report (CR) Writing and Frame and Structure. The CR Writing class is designed to cover the basics of condition report writing, the fundamentals of a proper inspection and damage category identification (such as prior repair, frame, flood and hail). Also covered in the CR Writing class are proper inspection techniques, current industry terminology and collision manual usage. The two-day class is fully endorsed by the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA).
The Frame and Structure class is a comprehensive overview and interpretation of NAAA structural damage policy. The one-day class includes identification of automotive frame types, types of damage a structure will incur in a collision and a look at repair processes collision shops are currently using.
Classes are offered on a first come, first served basis, with room for 12 people per class.
“These classes are open to anyone, not just Manheim employees, who wants to do their job better, more effectively and smarter,” said Dan Dietsch, managing director of the technical center. “Manheim is dedicated to helping prepare remarketers so they may reap the benefits.”
