GMAC Educational Services will present its 13th Annual National F&I Conference at the Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz., May 11-15, 2002.

"This conference provides a variety of events custom designed to enhance F&I performance," said Louis Carrio, director of GMAC Educational Services. "Dynamic group workshops and role-playing exercises will challenge and heighten the F&I manager's level of professionalism. Also, attendees will have an opportunity to share innovative ideas with other F&I managers from all over North America."

A partial list of workshop topics includes F&I and the Law; Overcoming Customer Objections to F&I Products; Selling Vehicle Service Contracts; Menu Selling; Effective Presentation Skills; Listening Skills; Understanding Personality Types; and Stress Management.

Early Bird registration for the conference is available for $1,750 until Feb. 28. After that date, the cost is $1,850. Guest packages are available for attendees for an additional $550.

Included with registration and attendance is ground transportation to and from Phoenix Sky Harbor airport; hotel accommodations for four nights; meals (except on free evening); all instruction and classroom materials; one-on-one discussions with instructors; opportunities to participate in role-playing and team-building exercises; and recreational activities.
