Two automotive data provider powerhouses joined forces Oct. 2 for a vehicle sourcing agreement in the automotive valuation industry. The N.A.D.A. Official Used Car Guide Co. (N.A.D.A.) and Chrome Systems Corp. said they partnered "to provide automotive industry professionals with the most market-reflective used-vehicle valuations, as well as the largest and most comprehensive database of new-vehicle pricing, specification information and related technologies available on the market."

Most importantly to N.A.D.A. customers, the

addition of Chrome's New Vehicle Data(TM) (NVD) to nada.com/b2b makes it possible to pull up new-vehicle invoice pricing by VIN, a capability

that did not exist before with N.A.D.A.'s site.

"We are very excited about this added value to our online product offering," said Scott Lilja, executive director of the N.A.D.A. Official Used Car Guide Co.

N.A.D.A. B2B Web customers will now be able to view year, make, model, body type, technical specifications and price data currently for

the 2003-2004 model years, updated monthly, according to Lilja. Also, both on the screen and in printed reports, N.A.D.A. B2B users will see the selected options, standard equipment, crash test results, and rebate and warranty

information for the vehicle that they are valuing, Lilja said.
