Virginia Considers F&I License

The Virginia Automobile Dealers Association has reportedly assembled a task force of dealers, suppliers and industry lawyers to examine F&I licensing issues. After the team reports its findings to the VADA's board of directors, VADA may propose a state law to license finance managers.

If the legislation is passed, Virginia would be the first state to require a license specifically for F&I managers, said Automotive News.
