Service contract company Heritage Administration Services was purchased by Car Care LLC, a holding company formed by investors, reported Automotive News. Ohio-based Car Care is buying similar companies to grow its share of the service contract business.

Heritage sold $9.3 million in premiums for service contracts nationwide last year, according to the Lincoln Journal Star. The company, in Lincoln, Neb., will keep its 115 employees.

Heritage will be the service contract administrator for Car Care. Haytham ElZayn of Car Care is also president of National Administrative Solutions Corp., a service contract company in Dublin, Ohio.

Heritage Administration also owns Heritage Warranty Insurance Risk Retention Group, which insures performance of service contracts.
