FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- DaimlerChrysler Services North America, the finance arm of DaimlerChrysler AG, made a charitable donation of $100,000 this month to CARE on behalf of its dealers, customers and associates.

CARE, a humanitarian organization fighting global poverty, focuses on the areas of education, community advancement and economic development.

In support of the donation, DaimlerChrysler Services' 2004 holiday card was created with the CARE logo designed with three-dimensional puzzle pieces to emphasize its commitment to collaboration and partnership.

"We are pleased to contribute to a great cause that will benefit communities globally in need," said Klaus Entenmann, president and CEO of DaimlerChrysler Services North America.
