CNA National Tops Dealers' Choice Awards for Third Year

March 28, 2007

Scottsdale, Ariz. — CNA National Warranty Corporation (CNAN) has been ranked at the top of the Service Contract Provider category of the Auto Dealer Monthly Dealers’ Choice Awards.

For the third consecutive year, CNAN earned the Diamond Award, making it a Triple Diamond winner. While 40 companies were recognized in 19 categories, CNAN is one of only four companies that can claim Triple Diamond status.

According to Auto Dealer Monthly, “CNAN received high praise from survey respondents who claimed, ‘The best aspect of CNA’s program is that there are never any hassles when trying to get something taken care of.’ Dealers are not afraid to call them to get answers even when the customer is sitting with them.”

Alan Miller, senior vice president of sales, said, “I think dealers have ranked CNA National as the No. 1 service contract provider for three years in a row for a number of reasons. Certainly our superior claims administration is a key factor, along with our financial stability. Our profit participation programs deliver real results: We've paid more than $100 million to dealers to date. Plus, our agents are among the best in the business and they provide valuable support on the local level.”

This is the third year Auto Dealer Monthly has recognized the most highly regarded vendors, suppliers and finance companies in the retail automotive industry as voted on by dealers and dealership personnel. The survey provided dealers and their employees the ability to offer their collective selection of the top providers to the retail auto industry.

Overall, 40 companies, all chosen by dealers and dealership personnel, were named winners in 19 distinctive categories of products and services, with nearly 3,500 votes cast per category. Ratings were gathered on the performance of the product or service, as well as the customer support and service from the provider, and the overall value compared to cost to the dealership. The complete list of winners, as well as any provider or finance company that rated higher than the group average score in any category can be found at
