Colleyville, Texas — In response to the challenges facing the automobile industry in 2008, the Association of Finance & Insurance Professionals cut its annual industry-level membership dues by 50 percent. The reduction applies to both the $3,500 corporate and the $1,750 GA level dues, but only for the current year.

The revenue deficiency will be offset by belt tightening on AFIP’s part and the income generated by an increase in the use of its AFIP Certified F&I Professional program.

The lower dues will permit industry members to benefit from AFIP’s wholesale pricing and maintain their status as a partner in the association’s efforts to bolster and defend the F&I process and the interests of its industry members.
