JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Life of the South made key staffing changes impacting its Payment Protection Division. The company has appointed Patti Jones as its assistant vice president and business unit officer in its financial institution group.

Jones currently serves as the company's client development officer assisting its client partners with strategies and training to enhance sales success.

In her new role, Jones will assist Bruce Bradley in meeting the needs of its community and regional bank clients and its general agents who look to the company for credit insurance and debt cancellation solutions.

"Patti's successful experience with us, 15 years of banking experience and leadership skills will help ensure that our client partners receive the very finest support available in the industry today. I was impressed with Patti when we worked together at the Huntington Banks and that opinion has only grown stronger since she joined us in January of 2007," Bradley said.

This move follows the announcement that Bradley, first vice president and business unit leader of the regional bank unit will assume responsibility for both the regional and community bank units which make up the company's financial institution group.

Life of the South also announced that Victor Halbach, its current sales support manager, has been appointed to succeed Jones as the division's new client development director and trainer. Halback has been with Life of the South since 2006, and has more than 15 years of bank training and wholesaling experience.

"We are equally happy about utilizing Vic Halbach's skills with our largest clients in his new role. He is an asset and we are delighted to have him on our team. These changes continue to demonstrate our support for the financial institution marketplace and our role as a leader in this industry," said Bradley.
