Nick Peluso, president of Manheim Digital, a 30-year company veteran, and a widely recognized auction services innovator, will retire at the end of the year.
The company reported that 45% of vehicles sold in the first half were to digital buyers on Manheim.com. The firm also detailed enhancements it’s planning to make to the Manheim Marketplace over the next few months.
Dealers with a Carfax Advantage account can now use Carfax information when searching for inventory through manufacturers’ digital sales platforms powered by RMS Automotive. BMW Financial Services NA LLC is the first company to incorporate the search function into its RMS-powered digital marketplace.
The partnership integrates open sale inventory listed on manufacturers’ digital sales platforms powered by RMS Automotive into vAuto’s Stockwave tool, providing dealers with access to pre-auction inventory while helping manufacturers increase exposure of their inventory.
Through the new co-listing capability, dealers can gain access to vehicles listed on manufacturers’ digital sales platforms powered by RMS Automotive before they cross the auction block.
