State Charging Station Plans Move Forward

Hertz has partnered with BP Pulse, BP oil company’s EV charging arm, to build a network of electric vehicle charging stations across the U.S.
A key priority in the bill is spending $7.5 billion to build a national network of 500,000 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
During the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, a company VP announced that the electric carmaker will open 25 new stores in 2013. The company currently has 13 stores in operation.
