Houston-area Brookshire Hyundai changed hands from Texas-based Bolton Automotive to 2Autogroup, which is based out of Colorado. Bolton Automotive, represented by Pinnacle Mergers & Acquisitions, is owned by King Bolton and Jeremy Soileau.
“As we continue to look for new opportunities to grow, it made sense to divest this store as we focus on stores that are closer in proximity to our existing footprint," said Soileau, Bolton Automotive’s chief operating officer and operating partner. "As much as we like this store, we decided to have the capital prepared to redeploy on a better strategic fit in the future.”
Brookshire Hyundai sits just west of Houston in the city of Brookshire, while Bolton Automotive’s other rooftops are east of the state's biggest city. Bolton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is in Port Arthur, Texas, and Bolton Ford and Bolton Volkswagen are in Lake Charles, La.
It's Pinnacle’s first time working with Bolton Automotive but its fourth completed transaction since 2024 with 2Autogroup, which is owned by Paul Tew and Jordan Peterson.
Brookshire Hyundai will continue to operate under the same name.
