Wages continue to rise for workers at U.S. new car dealerships, who earned an average of $72,800 in 2018, according to a midyear NADA Data report.
In addition to confirming basic income and employment information, dealers can now use this new verification technology to view an applicant's job tenure, officials said.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that auto dealers have added 42,000 jobs since January 2013, pushing total employee count to just north of 1.16 million.
