5square.com Hires Barbero as Senior Account Executive

5square.com, an integrated selling system for the retail automotive industry, recently announced that retail automotive veteran John Barbero has joined the company as senior account executive for the Southeast U.S.

Westlake Village, CA – 5square.com, an integrated selling system for the retail automotive industry, recently announced that retail automotive veteran John Barbero has joined the company as senior account executive for the Southeast U.S. Barbero brings over 20 years of experience in the retail automotive field and an in-depth knowledge of auto dealer operations to 5square.com, having served for 12 years as general manger in three separate dealerships. He will report directly to Jonathan Feduniec, VP sales and marketing.

“John and I worked together at ReckonUp, where we helped build the company from approximately 30 dealers to several hundred in less than two years,” said Feduniec. “John’s tremendous energy and understanding of the operations of auto dealers make him a perfect fit for this position.”

Prior to 5square, Barbero worked as vice president sales/marketing at ReckonUp, where he more than doubled sales during his five-year tenure. Previous to that he worked as general manager at Lindell Honda/Volkswagen in Tampa, Florida, where he raised revenue by 65 percent and increased and maintained CSI rating to 98.2 percent. Before that he worked as president sales/marketing at High Profit Promotions, a national direct marketing company that specializes in hosted sales events. Barbero organized on-site and off-site super sales, four- and five-day events, with recent sales as high as $500,000. From 1988-1995, Barbero served as general manager at two separate auto dealerships, where among his accomplishments he increased sales by 160 percent.
