The Dealer Services Group of Automatic Data Processing, Inc.
has announced the installation of GetWired
into the 200th heavy-duty truck dealer location. According to the company, GetWired is a combination of wide-area-network hardware, VPN connectivity, and ADP service.
Included in the GetWired Solution:
Custom network design, installation and support unique to each
client
Internet connectivity and ISP service options tailored to the
retail truck dealers
State-of-the-art Cisco PIX firewall protection and advanced
security monitoring
Total integration with the ADP Elite dealer management system
applications

security features provided by ADP Team Truck's GetWired Solution. With
GetWired we can now communicate with our customers through the
Internet in a safe and secure online environment. GetWired is just one
of the many products that we use from ADP's Team Truck to help us run
our business more profitably," states, Jack Kane, owner, Oakland Truck
Center.
ADP says it began selling GetWired in October of 2000. "We have
experienced incredible success with this product offering. Others are
just beginning to create the relationships necessary to market and
implement advanced networking solutions and integrated web-services.
ADP has been pushing the network envelope for quite some time," says
Roger Sybrowsky, vice president and general manager of ADP Team Truck.
ADP Team Truck, located in Bedford, Texas is an independent
division of ADP Dealer Services, and provides products and services to
over 1,200 heavy-duty truck dealer locations throughout North America.
