The Dealer Services Group of Automatic Data Processing, Inc.
announced Mar. 14 the addition of the Driving Force Auto
Dealer Consulting Group to its certified CPA/Consultant Partnership
Program. Driving Force Auto Dealer Consulting Group is a select group
of over 12 CPA/Consulting firms that form a national network of
financial and business consulting resources dedicated to helping
automotive dealers reduce taxes, preserve wealth and increase profits, according to ADP.
Over forty-five CPA/Consulting firms representing thousands of
automotive and truck dealerships now participate in the program.
"ADP has always been a forerunner in training CPA/Consultants
working in the auto dealer industry. ADP's 'Advanced CPA/Consultant
Class' provided our group with valuable information we can use to help
our clients operate more efficiently and profitably. Our national
network of CPA/Consultants is proud to be recognized as the first
national group to complete the advanced training and we are eager to
bring this training to our clients throughout the country," said Allan
Kovitz, executive committee chairman of Driving Force Auto Dealer
Consulting Group.
ADP Dealer Services Group's CPA/Consultant Partnership Program was
initiated in 1997 to serve auto/truck dealership clients
through an initiative between ADP, certified public
accountants and the business consultant community.
CPAs/Consultants become certified through completion of a special
Advanced Consultant Class. The class is a result of joint
collaboration between ADP and its CPA Partners. It is designed to
enable consultants to provide service to auto/truck
dealership clients. According to ADP, the custom-designed three-day class involves the
analysis of key standard reports, creation of custom reports, and the
downloading of data to PC files.
"ADP is committed to providing on-going World Class training,
tools, and support to enable CPAs/Consultants to provide value-added
services to automotive car and truck dealerships," says Bill Heffern,
vice president of customer relations.
ADP announced special benefits for certified partners during its
3rd Annual NADA CPA/Consultant Briefing on Saturday January 26, 2002
in New Orleans, LA.
