ADP Dealer Services Announces the Acquisition of LeaseStar
Dealer Services
Group has announced the acquisition of the Plainview, New
York-based company, LeaseStar, Ltd. Founded in 1985, LeaseStar, Ltd.
provides computerized automotive lease quoting to help automotive
dealers and manufacturers increase and improve their lease business
using e-business technology, according to the company.
"The acquisition of LeaseStar adds an integral piece to our
existing Desking and F&I solutions. The strength of the LeaseStar
web-based model, and its strong fit with ADP Dealer Services, is
critical to our growth in the front-end of the dealership business,"
states Mike Martone, president, ADP Dealer Services Group.
"Our years of direct experience working with dealers have enabled
us to design a system from the bottom up to meet their business needs.
As new technologies emerge, LeaseStar's model will be ready to bring
them to dealers on-line. We now have the ability to include this
expertise with ADP's full range of front-end products to offer the
most complete system in the automotive retail industry," stated Tanja
Balkan, president and CEO of LeaseStar.
According to the company, in addition to benefits such as ease-of-use, automatic updates,
and no additional server requirements, the LeaseStar solution allows
dealers to compare a variety of terms, mileage and lease programs in
an immediate, real-time environment. Data is maintained from one
centralized location, ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate
rates for both new and used car leasing.
"LeaseStar is by far the most accurate and dependable leasing
system in the market today. The data is always accurate and I can
calculate any lease scenario that my customers present to me. Using
LeaseStar makes my leasing business more profitable and efficient.
When it comes down to functionality, LeaseStar is second to none,"
states Mike Conway, president of Conway Motors.
The company says the addition of LeaseStar strengthens ADP Dealer Services'
position as the dealership partner of choice with a continued focus on
providing Sales Desk and F&I solutions. This, combined
with LeaseStar's on-line model, allows ADP Dealer Services to set new
standards in the delivery of products and services that help
dealers sell cars more profitably. ADP offers a comprehensive
front-end solution set including website development tools, lead
management, showroom management, desking, F&I, business development,
campaign management and fulfillment.
"Dealers today are looking for solutions to address their
front-end sales concerns. ADP Dealer Services, along with LeaseStar,
can provide an all-encompassing solution that is unsurpassed. This
acquisition represents our continued focus to deliver solutions that
will help dealers improve sales and profitability, while decreasing
costs," adds Sarah Gauss, product marketing manager of desking and F&I
