Manheim announced May 21 that Jay Agosta has been promoted to assistant general manager of Manheim’s Skyline Auto Exchange in Fairfield, N.J. He will report to Jay Cadigan, general manager.
Agosta joined Manheim Auctions in December 1997, working in the Manheim Automotive Financial Services (MAFS) department at Newburgh Auto Auction in Newburgh, N.Y. In 1998, he joined the management-training program and spent the next two years working in a variety of positions throughout the auction. Upon completion of the training program, he was named dealer relations manager, a position he held until being named assistant general manager.
Prior to joining Manheim, Agosta worked at Chase Bank from 1995 to 1997 in its dealer service center, which provides financing for car dealers and leasing companies.
