ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The American International Automobile Dealers Association announced its board of directors executive committee for 2005. James D. Evans Jr., of AutoNation in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., will serve as chairman.
The executive officers will be installed at AIADA's 35th Annual Luncheon and Meeting in New Orleans on Jan. 31.
Chairman: James D. Evans Jr., AutoNation, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Immediate Past Chairman: Buzz Rodland, Rodland Toyota, Everett, Wash.
Chairman-Elect: Don Hicks, Shortline Automotive, Aurora, Colo.
Vice Chairman: Don Beyer, Don Beyer Volvo, Falls Church, Va.
Secretary/Treasurer: I. Bradley Hoffman, Hoffman Imports, East Hartford, Conn.
“I'm particularly eager to begin building on the grassroots growth we've seen over the past few years,” said Evans. “Grassroots involvement has historically been the driving force that made AIADA an effective lobby, and it's critical to our long-term success.”
