GLEN ELLYN, Ill. — American Guardian Warranty Services Inc. is going green, announcing that its “Compass Protection Plan” agreements and brochures will be printed with and on environmentally friendly material.
The “Compass Protection Plan” brochures are printed with soy ink on Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper. The type of certification ensures that forestry operations meet a set of environmental, social and economic criteria.
Additionally, the company’s agreements will be printed with soy ink on an aggressive 30 percent post-consumer recycled paper. Originally, the company used 10 percent pre-consumer-based paper. The company also plans to expand its green initiative to all of its marketing collateral.
