AmeriCredit Appoints Bruce Berkowitz to Board of Directors
AmeriCredit Corp. has appointed Bruce R. Berkowitz, president of investment firm Fairholme Funds Inc., to its board of directors. AmeriCredit's board now includes ten directors.
FORT WORTH, Texas -- AmeriCredit Corp. has appointed Bruce R. Berkowitz, president of investment firm Fairholme Funds Inc., to its board of directors. AmeriCredit's board now includes ten directors.
In addition to being president of Fairholme Funds Inc., Berkowitz is also a member of its board of directors. He has more than 24 years of investment management experience and is the managing member and chief investment officer of Fairholme Capital Management LLC. Berkowitz also serves as a director and member of the audit committee of TAL International and White Mountains Insurance Group.
