Baton Rouge, La. – AppOne has formed a partnership with Thrifty Car Sales, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group that sells franchised used-car dealerships.
Thrifty Car Sales provides a variety of services to their dealers including Internet sales leads, financing sources and aftermarket products branded under the Thrifty name. As part of this alliance, AppOne provides its auto financing platform to Thrifty Car Sales dealers with several programs specifically tailored to the needs of its dealers.
The dealer portal, powered and supported by AppOne with plans to become a co- branded site, provides dealers with all of the functionality of the original AppOne system, which includes access to prime and subprime lenders; the ability to price and print documentation for aftermarket products provided by Thrifty Car Sales, along with all documentation required for each loan; and access to AppOne’s MenuOne, a user-friendly online sales tool offering financing alternatives that dealers can customize for presentation to car buyers.
In addition, AppOne’s dealer services will support Thrifty franchisees, assisting in the completion of financing transactions while helping keep Thrifty franchisees compliant with all state and federal lending regulations.
“Thrifty Car Sales franchisees can offer their customers more financing options due to our recent alliance with AppOne, and in the process increase their competitiveness in the market,” said Bill Gordon, director of strategic relations and operations support for Thrifty Car Sales. “Expanded financing options for car buyers lead to increased sales for our dealers.”
“Our alliance gives Thrifty Car Sales dealers the ability to join our platform without a separate integration project”, said Lee Domingue, CEO of AppOne. “These dealers have access to AppOne’s network of lenders but also have the convenience of using a portal system and marketplace that will ultimately carry the Thrifty brand.”
