LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — DealerTrack Systems Inc., a subsidiary of on-demand software and data solutions provider DealerTrack Holdings Inc., has announced that Duluth, Ga.-based Asbury Automotive Group Inc. has decided to accelerate the implementation of the DealerTrack Arkona dealer management system across its entire store base.

Asbury selected DealerTrack as its DMS solutions and technology partner in October 2007. Since then, it has been systematically replacing DMS systems from other providers with DealerTrack's DMS as existing contracts expired. To date, 33 Asbury dealerships have converted to the new system.

"We are pleased with DealerTrack's execution, and with the functionality and flexibility of the DealerTrack DMS," said Charles R. Oglesby, president/CEO of Asbury Automotive Group. "In fact, we decided to accelerate the conversions across the rest of our stores. This decision was based upon enhanced efficiencies and significant cost savings that we have already achieved; we look forward to additional benefits from having the entire company on a single DMS platform."

"We are very excited about the progress we have made in our partnership with Asbury over the last 15 months," said Mark O'Neil, chairman/CEO of DealerTrack. "In particular, Asbury's decision to expedite its DMS conversions speaks volumes about the value of our DMS solution."
