Clifton Park, N.Y. – Auto/Mate Dealership Systems announced today that its Customer/Mate CRM system has been certified under the new GM OneSource lead distribution program. The certification allows Customer/Mate to electronically receive, process and manage General Motor leads for Auto/Mate dealer clients.

“Auto/Mate has been a certified GM OneSource lead partner since the program was launched,” said Mike Esposito, president of Auto/Mate. ”The new program qualification guidelines provide an even more streamlined process to help dealers turn OEM leads into sales.”

GM OneSource is the lead delivery program used by General Motors to electronically transmit leads to dealers. A central electronic site receive leads from GM’s divisional web sites, the GM Certified Internet web site, GM Handraiser leads, third-party Internet leads and other sources. After the leads have been received and processed, prospect information is then transmitted from OneSource directly into the dealer’s CRM system.

The CRM integration criteria was recently revised with more stringent qualifications, requiring all vendors to become recertified as GM OneSource providers. Under the new certification program, Customer/Mate now shows up to 5 vehicles of interest per sales lead, provides trade-in information and can now auto-assign OneSource leads to a designated sales person. Customer/Mate can also receive parts and service leads, multiple parts orders per lead, Parts Recall Campaign information and preferred service appointment times.

Customer/Mate’s integration with GM OneSource allows a dealership’s sales force to efficiently follow-up on all Internet based leads being transmitted from the OEM to the dealership. It helps increase profitability by providing dealers with advanced lead management features and functionality to more effectively track sales prospects.

Customer/Mate is a complete CRM solution. The system is one of 14 major modules in Auto/Mate’s Automotive Management Productivity Suite (AMPS). Customer/Mate offers sales and customer management, as well as sales analysis with AMPS’ easy-to-use interface.
