SAN FRANCISCO — AutosAhora.com, an online resource for Hispanic new- and used-car buyers, now offers dealers the ability to list their vehicles on its site and gain access to AutosAhora.com's community of prospective Hispanic car buyers. The new service allows dealers to upload car listings on the AutosAhora.com site, manage their offers and listings with a simple interface, and allows them to personalize their ads to reinforce their brand image at the local and national level.

Census figures indicate that the Hispanic population, currently at more than 40 million, is the fastest-growing group in the country with Spanish-dominant Hispanics making up a significant segment of this population. Moreover, their buying power is expected to reach $992 billion by 2009.

“Dealers and automakers that include outreach to Hispanic car buyers as part of their overall marketing strategy, invariably reap the benefits through increased sales and a loyal clientele,” said Mike Gutierrez, director of sales for AutosAhora.com. “The average dealership generates between 10 and 40 percent of its vehicle sales from Internet leads. With nearly 20 million Hispanics in the U.S. using the Internet, this segment of the population presents a value-added opportunity that cannot be overlooked.”

AutosAhora.com is one of the few comprehensive online resources that makes it possible for Hispanics to shop for a car, obtain financing and an extended warranty in the language of their preference. AutosAhora.com also features a blog on car buying, provides Kelley Blue Book’s Spanish-language used-vehicle information as well as calculators to help prospective car buyers determine their monthly payments, and how much car they can afford based on their down payment, interest rate and the trade-in value of their existing vehicle.

Dealers looking to list their vehicles on AutosAhora.com have different pricing and listing options depending on their sales needs and budget. Dealers can list their vehicles for as little as $15 per listing. An annual subscription entitles dealers to unlimited listings per month, premium search results and a customized Web page featuring the dealers’ marketing collateral, listing and contact information.
