SEARCHFORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--AutoNation Inc. announced April 1 an agreement to acquire John Roberts BMW and MINI in Texas, the largest BMW and MINI dealership in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The deal is expected to close the second quarter of 2004.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--AutoNation Inc. announced April 1 an agreement to acquire John Roberts BMW and MINI in Texas, the largest BMW and MINI dealership in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The deal is expected to close the second quarter of 2004.
With this purchase, AutoNation would own 66 dealerships in Texas and 22 in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
"The John Roberts BMW and MINI acquisition furthers our strategy of expanding our luxury car and truck business," said Michael Maroone, president and chief operating officer of AutoNation.
