autoPilot, a developer of business solutions for automobile dealers, made its debut at the National Automotive Dealers Association Convention in New Orleans. The company currently offers four products: Analytics, Depot, Sell and Track. In addition, it is developing a next-generation DMS.
Analytics allows dealers to access and analyze performance data in a time-saving format. It facilitates auditing and data aggregation, quickly consolidates and compares the performance of multiple dealerships and schedules reports to be run automatically.
Analytics draws attention to discrepancies and exceptions so dealers don’t waste time searching entire reports for issues or problems. Available add-ons include risk management, benchmarking and cash flow planning.
Depot creates structure and accountability for the warranty parts process. This solution builds an inventory of warranty parts and tracks the status of parts from intake through disposal with an intelligent barcode system. Depot can help to shorten lines at the parts counter, facilitate faster processing of warranty claims and enable better tracking of parts.
Sell is a Web-based application that assists independent dealerships with prospecting, desking, F&I, inventory control and loan management. Designed to assist dealers at every stage of the selling process, Sell integrates several time-consuming tasks into one application. From credit checks, pricing and inventory searches to streamlining communications between the sales and F&I staff, Sell is a tool that aims to minimize the work while maximizing profits.
Track uses RFID technology to assist dealers in knowing precisely where every vehicle is located on the lot, in real time, without the high cost and limitations of GPS. This solution aims to improve customer service by saving time in locating vehicles for retrieval.
