AVV Announces Alliance With Mazda North American Operations
AVV has announced that Mazda North
American Operations has selected AVV's WebControl as the lead management
solution for Mazda dealers.
According to the company, WebControl is an Internet based lead management application that tracks all
communication between the dealership and customers or prospects. The
application can be accessed from any PC with Internet connectivity or the
Compaq iPAC wireless device. This implementation will allow Mazda to provide
improved marketing support to its dealers and assist participating dealers
in establishing and managing relationships with customers.
"AVV is proud to help Mazda dealers bolster their already successful
customer service efforts," says AVV President Dan Vogel. "WebControl will
help Mazda capitalize on the increasing use by the general public of the
Internet to research, evaluate and initiate the purchase of new or pre-owned
vehicles."
"Mazda is excited to work with AVV and offer our dealers a new Internet lead
management tool," says David Matthew, Internet marketing manager, Mazda
North American Operations. "AVV's WebControl tool will allow our dealerships
to manage more Internet customers, more effectively, and in less time."
The company says WebControl accepts sales inquiries from any website and automatically routes
the email to the most qualified dealership representative according to
pre-defined criteria. Wireless integration immediately prompts the recipient
to respond to the consumer's request as quickly as possible. WebControl also
handles leads that originate by phone or through a visit to the dealership.
"AVV has developed technology enhancements to their tool that provide
benefit to Mazda dealers," says Penny Hays, department manager, e-Business,
Mazda North American Operations.
Each contact with the customer is automatically recorded in the WebControl
database. Scheduled activities are delivered through a daily planner and
electronic calendar system. Management can also install follow-up processes
so that each salesperson communicates with the customer according to a
predefined contact schedule that results in improved sales.
AVV is a full-service Internet application provider specializing in helping
automotive manufacturers and dealers. AVV's WebControl application harnesses
the power of the Internet to provide thousands of sales teams with the
information they need to manage and close sales. AVV provides services for
over 2,000 automobile dealerships in the United States.
