Chris Ballinger joined Toyota Financial Services (TFS) as its corporate manager - treasury on Sept. 22, assuming responsibility for all capital market activities. He will manage the company's derivative portfolio and financial risk management, cash management and treasury systems. He will report directly to TFS Chief Financial Officer John Stillo.
Prior to joining TFS, Ballinger worked for Providian Financial Corp., a publicly-traded sub-prime credit card issuer, serving as senior vice president and assistant treasurer. Before Providian, Ballinger was senior vice president, treasury at Bank of America.
"Chris is a great addition to our Finance team," said Stillo. "He brings broad and balanced experience in the secured and unsecured markets as well as derivatives and investment portfolio management."
Ballinger is a graduate of Amherst College and earned his MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
