Bobit Business Media Acquires World Of Special Finance's Magazine, Conference And Website
In a transaction directed to strengthen Bobit Business Media's position in the automotive dealer market, it was announced that Bobit will acquire the assets of World Of Special Finance, a national monthly publication, World Of Special Finance Conference & Expo, and related Websites.
Torrance, Calif. — In a transaction directed to strengthen Bobit Business Media's position in the automotive dealer market, it was announced that Bobit will acquire the assets of World Of Special Finance, a national monthly publication, World Of Special Finance Conference & Expo, and related Websites.
The seller was the family-owned company, World Of Special Finance LLC of mid-Michigan. The company's lead team of Rick and Cindy Sly, will continue to assist in the transition for the coming year with the eleven year old magazine with circulation of more than 24,000 new and used car dealers.
Rick Sly commented that, "We're very happy to have World of Special Finance go to a respected and experienced company where we know our readers and advertisers will continue to see high quality standards."
Ty Bobit, BBM's CEO and president, welcomed the leading subprime lending publication and related conference into BBM's portfolio, especially with the strong synergies between BBM's F & I Magazine and F & I Conference (recently honored as one of the top 50 fastest growing in the U.S.).
The effective date for the acquisition is with the January 2008 issue.
