Burt Automotive Network Launches New Warranty Program
The Burt Automotive Network, a Colorado privately-owned retailer of new and used automobiles, announced Jan. 18 the signing of an agreement with Prizm Solutions, LLC of Wheat Ridge, Colo., to administer its new extended warranty program.
The signing of this agreement ends a relationship of more than 20 years with First Extended Services Corp., recently acquired by AON Corp.. Under the new agreement with Prizm, Burt will sell a new, tailor-made service agreement to its customers and utilize a web-based program provided by Prizm to administer the program.
"This relationship offers us the technology-based solutions we need to take our warranty program to a higher level," said Hank Held, senior vice president and general counsel of the Burt Automotive Network. "Prizm has taken the basics of a warranty administration system and applied technology enhancements to create a powerful, Internet-based administration and reporting tool. No other administrator offers the capabilities that Prizm offers."
"We are very excited about the program developed for the Burt group," said Dan Haugen, CEO of Prizm Solutions. "It is designed with cost savings, tax benefits and innovative features that will increase their profits as well as provide real-time access to their warranty information."
Prizm Solutions is a third-party administration company that specializes in offering products, programs and technology for the automobile and recreational vehicle service contracts industry.
