CallCommand Approved by Chrysler Group as Preferred MarketCenter Supplier
CallCommand(TM), a provider of Web-based communication solutions to automotive retailers nationwide, on Nov. 18 announced it has been approved by the Chrysler Group as a MarketCenter supplier. MarketCenter offers a selection of services from a variety of vendors for their Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep(R) dealer base.
"This has been a wonderful year of new product development and expansion for CallCommand," said Al Babbington, CallCommand CEO. "Approval as a Chrysler Group MarketCenter supplier is the icing on the cake."
One area on which CallCommand(TM) has concentrated its research and product development over the past year is how to safely navigate complicated Do-Not-Call (DNC) legislation. According to Babbington, as industry compliance experts on the new Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR) and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CallCommand helps dealers cut through the confusion.
"Knowing whom they can contact and when will become one of the dealers' most important tools," Babbington said. "We have received a strong response from the Chrysler Group dealers since being placed as a supplier on MarketCenter."
While court battles continue, the FTC is enforcing the ban on commercial telemarketers, and dealers across the nation face a need to restructure their business practices or be open to hefty fines and possible lawsuits, according to Babbington.
CallCommand's most recent product release, CallScan, offers state-, federal- and company-specific DNC compliance solutions and assists dealerships in building an infrastructure to support the new FTC and FCC legislation.
Most importantly, CallScan helps dealerships ensure that all safe harbor requirements are met and that any violations that may occur are the direct result of an error, according to the company.
"The CallScan system simplifies everything; it offers the tools and training to follow compliance requirements," CallCommand said in a prepared statement. "Not only does CallCommand provide the infrastructure necessary to follow the DNC requirements, it also supplies direct marketing and communication solutions to help drive traffic into Service and Sales departments," the company said.
CallCommand's CallStream, released earlier this year, is a Web-based personalized calling system designed to provide voice messaging to cell phones, land phones and other devices. Combining telecom and Internet technologies, CallStream enables the delivery of personal voice messages to any customer database, regardless of size, instantaneously -- from any location, according to the company.
