Carbiz.com Inc., a provider of Internet and software solutions for the North American automotive industry, unveiled its Voice Direct IVR (Interactive Voice Response) application to automotive industry leaders attending Carbiz.com's National Special Finance & Buy-Here Pay-Here Conference held in Las Vegas, Nev.

Voice Direct is a telephony application that allows consumers to phone an 800-number in order to determine whether they may qualify for financing to purchase or lease a vehicle by answering a series of questions prompted to them by Voice Direct.

The consumer's answers to the scripted questions of the Voice Direct application are then directly downloaded into the automobile dealers network. Based on the information provided by the potential buyer, the automobile dealer can determine whether the consumer qualifies for financing according to their lending adjudication model.

If a consumer qualifies for financing the automobile dealer then selects a finance company that best fits the consumer and the lender. The Voice Direct application gives motivated buyers - who may be worried about their credit rating, or who simply may not enjoy the whole car buying process - the ability to determine whether they will be able to purchase or lease a vehicle in an easy, convenient and non-confrontational manner over the telephone.

Voice Direct provides many benefits to the automobile dealer, according to Carl Ritter, CEO of Carbiz.com. It allows potential buyers to contact an automobile dealer seven days a week, 24 hours a day, through its voice automation system, and improves automobile dealers efficiency by generating potential sales leads. These potential sales leads allow automobile dealers to focus their energy and resources on motivated buyers, according to Ritter. It also allows automobile dealers to narrow their advertising efforts on proven sources by tracking how the motivated buyer became aware of the Voice Direct service.

"Voice Direct is yet another tool that automobile dealers will be able to employ to generate more sales leads by introducing potential motivated buyers to them," Ritter said. "Essentially, this is the same type of service that Carbiz.com offers automobile dealers and consumers over the Internet, and is another example of how Carbiz.com's solutions are bringing together consumers and automobile dealers in an effort to effect successful automobile transactions."
