CareGard Appoints New President
CareGard has appointed Guy Koenig as its new president, the company announced on Monday. Koenig succeeds Wright Brewer, who is staying on as CEO and chairman and will continue to play a key role in the company’s growth.
GRAPEVINE, Texas — CareGard has appointed Guy Koenig as its president, the F&I product provider announced on Monday.
Koenig joins the company with 19 years of experience in a variety of leadership roles. He most recently served as chief strategic officer for AMT Warranty Corp., and has also worked at AmTrust Financial Services Inc., Bank of America, Principal Financial Group, and Farm Bureau Financial Services, according to the announcement.
“CareGard has had a relationship with Mr. Koenig for several years, as he was an executive for our underwriter. The executives at CareGard already have a working relationship with Guy and look forward to facilitating growth through his leadership,” said Wright Brewer.
Koenig will be succeeding Wright Brewer, who is staying on as CEO and chairman and will continue to play a key role in the company’s growth, according to the company.
