CarExpress.com, the makers of ProMax(TM) software, are offering a five-day workshop for special finance managers called "Fundamentals of Special Finance."

According to Michael Rexroat, vice president and general manager of CarExpress.com, the workshop is an example of the dedication of CarExpress.com to dealerships wanting to be successful in special finance. The major hurdle many dealerships face when either getting into the special finance business or in replacing employees is finding an experienced or qualified special finance manager, Rexroat noted.

"We wanted to give the dealership the opportunity to take a good employee and train them to be a successful special finance manager in a relatively short time. In one week we can send the workshop attendees back to the dealership with the knowledge to build a successful special finance business," Rexroat said.

Rexroat also recommends the workshop for dealer principals and managers for the purpose of learning the details of the special finance business and how to develop this profit center in their dealerships.

Subjects covered in the Fundamentals of Special Finance Workshop include: how to get prospects from infomercials and other advertising; the credit application and how to read the credit report; matching the customer with a lender; how to work with a lender to get deals done; selecting the proper inventory; finding the most profitable vehicle/lender combination; getting stipulations and funding contracts; using technology to increase business; and many more topics.

The cost of the workshop is $1,995 per person including hotel, continental breakfast and lunch. More information on CarExpress.com and this workshop can be found at www.promaxautonews.com or by calling 1-800-322-9034.
