Chicago Cars.com will host a Webinar focused on helping dealers increase profits by using online tools to acquire, retail and remarket their used-car inventory. The free, hour-long event, "From Online Auction to Listings: Getting the Competitive Edge," begins at noon EDT this Friday, April 11. The Webinar is part of Cars.com's monthly DealerADvantage LIVE series.
"On the retail side of the business, shopping sites such as Cars.com have transformed how dealers advertise their listings and connect with in-market buyers," said Ralph Ebersole, Cars.com director of automotive consulting and dealer training. "Today, the Internet is also transforming the wholesale side of the business. Dealers can now use online tools to manage every aspect of the used-car sales process, In this seminar, we are excited to showcase how internet wholesaling can work together with online retail operations for maximum online success."
Led by Ebersole and Greg Lubrani, sales director for OPENLANE, a leading online wholesale automotive auction company, the Webinar will examine how dealers can use online auctions to purchase in-demand vehicles for their stores and move aging inventory or cars acquired through customer trade-ins that they do not want.
Topics will include:
- Overcoming the fear of buying and selling your inventory through online auction
- Realizing the benefits of selling vehicles online, both wholesale and retail
