Central Data Solutions has announced that the much-anticipated second phase of its online management system, CDS Portal, has been completed. The newest functionality within the popular application includes a daily control log with the ability to run reports on salesperson analysis, remittance and lender analysis.

"Our dealership has gone from the Stone Age to the 21st century since we implemented CDS Portal. In fact, I access it multiple times every day to see our lender analyses, F&I manager reports and sales manager reports in real time,” said Gary Weinbrecht, general sales manager of Pedigo Chevrolet in Indianapolis, Ind. “Not only do I now have incredible leverage with our lending institutions, but everyone is more aware, more competitive and held more accountable. Overall, I get information out of CDS Portal that you simply cannot find anywhere else. I highly recommend this management system -- it's one of the best things we've ever done."

The newly completed second phase of CDS Portal offers the following features and reports, according to Central Data Solutions:

  • Salesperson and sales manager analysis (rankings and logs)

  • F&I manager analysis (performance vs. goals and income distribution)

  • Dealership and corporate composite reports

  • Lender analysis (tier analysis and lender reserve statement)

  • Model analysis (new and used rankings)

  • Reports and remittance

  • Daily control log or summary data entry

"The report options are the best part of CDS Portal," said Chris Muhney, business manager of Ray Skillman Discount Auto Center in Greenwood, Ind. "We can sort and compile data in seconds with just a few clicks instead of crunching numbers for hours. We track everything that effects the finance department: the lenders, the sales managers, and the salesmen."

Central Data Solutions said its expertise in management system training and consulting directly results in improved client performance.

CDS designed and developed CDS Portal™ for the management of sales and F&I departments in automobile dealerships.

"I would absolutely recommend this management system to other dealers," said Len Hunter, general manager of Butler Toyota Warehouse in Indianapolis, Ind. "CDS Portal was built with the front-end manager in mind -- it shows me what I want to see and how I want to see it. It's also easy to use the reports; all you have to do is click and you're there. In particular, the Dealership Composite report can give you an instantaneous overview of where your store stands at a glance. This has great value for our dealership."
