CEO of Capital One Auto Finance Joins Valen Technologies' Board of Advisors
Valen Technologies, a provider of decision enabling software, on Oct. 14 announced that Dave Lawson, CEO of Capital One Auto Finance, has joined its board of advisors.
Lawson brings to Valen more than two decades of leadership experience at financial services companies, most recently at Capital One Auto Finance, which he led to become the largest auto lender in the United States. Together with an existing board of exceptional advisor members, Lawson will lend his industry experience and thought leadership to Valen Technologies.

Prior to heading Capital One, Lawson held executive positions at Arthur Andersen & Co., Western National Bank and J.D. Young Leasing. He has also sat on the board of directors for Circle of Friends Childhood Cancer Support Group and the Tulsa Regional Medical Center.
For his efforts in public service, Lawson was awarded the Tulsa Chapter of CPA's Public Service Award. He is also a Trustee and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the University of Tulsa.
