Chase Auto Finance to be Captive Provider to Subaru of America
J.P. Morgan Chase & Company's Chase Auto Finance unit has agreed to be the captive auto finance provider to Subaru of America Inc., effective April 1.
Terms weren't disclosed.
In a Feb. 27 press release, J.P. Morgan Chase said it will offer all financial products including lease and retail financing to Subaru customers and wholesale floorplan financing to dealers.
Subaru of America is a unit of Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd.
J.P. Morgan's New York Stock Exchange-listed shares recently traded at $49, up 45 cents or 0.9 percent, on composite volume of 4.2 million shares. Average daily volume is 9 million shares, according to Dow Jones Newswires.
