Chrome’s New Vehicle Data™ is a source of vehicle information containing year, make, model, style, technical specifications and price data from current calendar year and subsequent model years. It has exact, order-level vehicle descriptions and pricing. Thousands of automotive professionals and consumers use Chrome’s vehicle data and pricing tools to research, compare, order, finance and insure vehicles.

According to Chrome, this agreement helps reinforce its position as the “data standard” in the industry, benefiting retailers as well as consumers by creating consistency in vehicle pricing and descriptions across multiple channels throughout the retail automotive chain.

“Providing standardized and accurate vehicle descriptions for our dealers is important to us and Chrome helps us provide that to our clients,” said Jerry Kirwan, vice president, Supply Management. “Chrome’s data and tools will help normalize the descriptions for vehicles in dealer inventory and provide competitive comparisons for the dealer.”

Selected offerings from Reynolds incorporate Chrome’s data, as well as its desktop configuration tool, PC Carbook®, and its consumer-facing Web solution, Chrome Carbook®.

“Being the vehicle data provider for a market leader such as Reynolds and Reynolds is a huge honor for Chrome,” said David Mingle, Chrome president. “This agreement is an important development in our joint relationship.”
