Chrysler Financial, a DaimlerChrysler Services business unit, has introduced three new Internet capabilities that focus on customer specific needs such as determining financial payments, receiving bills online as well as providing information services in Spanish.

The new features, which can be found on the Chrysler Financial Web site, www.chryslerfinancial.com, are providing customers with transparency and convenience regarding payments and billing for any Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge vehicle, according to Chrysler Financial.

In March alone the Web site had more than 516,000 unique visitors, according to the company.

The recently launched payment estimator, which has been used more than 300,000 times, allows customers to determine their monthly payments factoring in different annual percentage rates, down payments and the value of a trade-in. Beyond these easy to use functions, the estimator automatically searches for the regional incentives in the area where the customer lives based upon the zip code that is entered.

In addition to customers enjoying the convenience of online payments to Chrysler Financial, they will soon be able to receive their bills online, according to the company. Currently in a pilot phase, online billing will simplify the overall experience of receiving and paying bills. Customers will soon be able activate this service via the Manage Your Account function on the Web site so they can receive their bills online. A mailing will be sent to current customers informing them of this service in July, according to Chrysler Financial.

In addition to the new features, Chrysler Financial is offering the Web site in Spanish. Spanish speaking customers can inform themselves of the same products offered in English such as payments, the difference between the lease and finance products and the Calculate Your Budget function. The credit applications and payment estimators are still currently in English, but will switch to Spanish in the near future.
