Since its inception, Chrysler Financial's Comprehensive F&I Training program has proven help increase dealership F&I profits and strengthen Chrysler Financial's dealer relationships, according to Bradley V. Bozsan of Chrysler Financial.

Cooperation and teamwork are the goals of the 3-1/2 day Comprehensive F&I Training course, which the sales manager and F&I manager attend together. They begin the training as the heads of two separate departments and they finish as a team -- with a better understanding of each other's roles and with a clear focus on how they, working together, can best serve customers, according to Chrysler Financial.

Now, dealerships which were unable to attend a training session in their zone for 2002 are being given another chance to take advantage of this training, Bozsan told F&I Management and Technology.

Chrysler Financial will be conducting a special class in Las Vegas, Dec. 16-20. "This is a pilot promotion designed to keep the momentum and successes of 2002 rolling into 2003," Bozsan said.

According to Bozsan, dealers taking advantage of this special offer will receive:

  • Free lodging for each participant for four days at the Flamingo Hilton. Lodging arrangements will be made and paid for by Chrysler Financial.

  • Reimbursement of airfare from their departure city to Las Vegas up to $200. Participants are to arrive on Monday, Dec. 16 and depart on Friday, Dec. 20 after 3 p.m. "With a receipt, dealerships will be reimbursed by check for up to $200 per participant for airfare," Bozsan said.

  • Breakfast and lunch each day. Dinners are at the leisure and expense of the participants.

Enrollments must be received no later than 5 p.m., Eastern time, Friday, Nov. 1.

According to Bozsan, the first class of 30 participants was met with such dealer enthusiasm that two more classes totaling 60 more participants were added.
