Chrysler’s Uconnect Allows for Post-Sale Modifications
Dealers now have the ability to activate navigation features on select Chrysler models months or even years after the vehicle is sold.

LAS VEGAS — Chrysler announced at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show that its dealers can now activate the navigation feature, after purchase, on vehicles equipped with specific Uconnect systems. According to Chrysler, dealers will be able to activate this feature on vehicles months or even years after purchase.
Chrysler said the dealer-activated navigation software provides the same map data as pre-ordered systems. The system also features turn-by-turn navigation instructions, along with other standard features.
This feature will initially be available on the 2013 Ram 1500 full-size pickup, the 2014 model-year FIAT 500L, and on the SRT Viper.
