In addition to F&I and service department training, CNA National Warranty Corp. has added AFIP Certification and a compliance seminar to the offerings available at its Scottsdale, Ariz., training center. Both courses feature open enrollment with discounts for current clients, and participants can register to attend either one or both on consecutive days.
“The need for consistently professional, ethical and compliant practices is widely recognized today in our industry,” said Joan Saunders, president and CEO. “We feel it is important to give our dealers — as well as our own agents, representatives and employees — the opportunity to further their education in these key areas.”
As an industry member of the Association of Finance & Insurance Professionals, CNAN is sponsoring a one-day study session and test. Advance registration is required to allow ample time for shipping and reviewing the extensive study materials. Individuals who achieve passing scores will earn designation as AFIP certified. Scheduled dates include May 9, July 25 and Sept. 19.
“Keys to Compliance” is also a one-day program, which will be conducted by Rob Cohen, a lawyer and partner at Auto Advisory Services. Currently he also serves as vice president of the National Association of Dealer Counsel. The seminar is set for May 10, July 26 and Sept. 20.
In response to continued high demand, CNAN also sponsors Ron Reahard and his nationally recognized Achieving F&I ExcellenceTM course on a monthly basis in Scottsdale. The rigorous but invigorating curriculum is designed to educate managers with regard to the laws and regulations that impact F&I on a daily basis, as well as ensure that proven processes and best practices are utilized.
For further information and registration, dealers may contact their local CNAN representatives or call (800) 345-0191, ext. 762.
