SEARCHAccording to CNNMoney, General Motors has formed a committee dedicated to keeping an eye on Tesla Motors.
NEW YORK — General Motors CEO Dan Akerson formed a task force to monitor alternative automakers, and according to CNNMoney, the only manufacturer being watched is Tesla Motors.
GM Vice Chairman Steve Girsky was quoted by Bloomberg to say: "[Akerson] thinks Tesla could be a big disrupter if we're not careful. History is littered with big companies that ignored innovation that was coming their way because you didn't know where you could be disrupted.”
