PartsVoice, the automotive e-business parts division of The Cobalt Group, announced Aug. 30 that it has expanded its PartsVoice Parts Locator network of dealers and manufacturers to include five additional vehicle makes, and pushed its database to more than 138 million OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts.

Dealers and automotive repair professionals can now conveniently locate and purchase OEM parts from Jaguar, Lexus, Porsche, Saturn, Suzuki and 30 other vehicle makes using the PartsVoice Parts Locator, according to Mike Bell, vice president and general manager of PartsVoice.

"The addition of Jaguar, Lexus, Porsche, Saturn, and Suzuki dealers' parts makes PartsVoice one of the most complete parts locators available to the industry," Bell said. "PartsVoice Parts Locator successfully leverages the power of the Internet and Interactive Voice Response technology to revolutionize the way that dealerships and repair professionals buy and sell OEM parts. PartsVoice enables parts and service professionals to buy and sell the OEM parts they need quickly and efficiently, thereby improving service to their customers and increasing sales for franchise new car dealerships."

Dealerships, collision shops, independent repair shops, and do-it-yourself mechanics can access PartsVoice to find parts either over the phone or using the Internet. Needing only make and part number, users may search from a database of more than 138 million parts at no charge directly from www.partsvoice.com, via Cobalt's automotive portal, www.MotorPlace.com, or by calling (800) 328-8766.

PartsVoice Parts Locator is a key component of the PartsVoice suite of e-business products and services that utilizes technology to improve efficiencies, increase sales, and generate higher customer satisfaction in the $41 billion OEM parts market. PartsVoice also offers DirectLink, an Internet-based product that allows dealers to list their OEM parts inventory on their Web sites. For dealers with obsolete parts inventory, PartsVoice provides the Discount Parts Locator and Idle Stock Relocator to match dealers' idle and obsolete parts inventory with buyers searching for those parts.
